Rav BenTzion (Bentzi) Shor
Rav BenTzion (Bentzi) Shor
Studied at Yeshivat Siach Yedidya and at Yeshivat Torah B’tzion. During his army service, he participated in the elite IAF Pilots course, and later served as a platoon sergeant in the Infantry Division. He is currently completing his Advanced Smicha Certification (Rav Ir) from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Rav Bentzi, the son of Olim from New York, speaks fluent English. His wife Esther, originally from Switzerland and fluent in French, made aliyah at the age of eleven with her family. She holds a B.Ed from Efrata College and teaches eleventh grade. They have three children.

Rav Avichai Goodman
Studied for eight years at Yeshivat Ohr Etzion. During his active duty in the IDF he served in the Tank Corps. He currently serves as a Reserve Rabbi for the IDF’s Alexandroni Division. He is in the process of completing his B.Ed. from Orot Israel, specializing in Tanach, and is working towards Advanced Smicha Certification (Rav Ir) from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. As the son of olim, Rav Avichai speaks fluent English. His wife Aviya holds a Law Degree from Bar Ilan University, and works as a lawyer. They have three children.

Rav Jeremy Koolyk
Grew up in Teaneck, NJ. Following two years of learning at Yeshivat Sha’alvim, he earned a B.A. in Economics from Yeshiva University (YU) and studied for Smicha at RIETS. After he and his wife, Ayelet, made aliyah in 2015, he studied for two years at Gruss, the RIETS Israel Kollel, whilst simultaneously working towards his M.Sc. from YU’s Azrieli Graduate School of Education and Administration. Currently, he is studying for Advanced Smicha Certification (Rav Ir) from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Ayelet holds a BA in mathematics from Stern College for Women, and works as a computer programmer. They live with their two children in Jerusalem.

Learnt in Yeshivat Merkaz Harav and Torah B’tzion. After learning 6 years he joined the Manhigut Toranit Program. He is currently completing his degree in Education from Michlelet Orot Yisrael. He served in the Golani Brigade in the IDF as a platoon sergeant. His wife Tzivia is completing her nursing degree. They live with their three children in Beit Chogla.

Originally hailing from Chicago, made Aliyah from London, England. He holds a BA in Philosophy and Pscyhology, and earned Semicha from Judith Lady Montefiore
College in London, in conjunction with Eretz Hemdah Institute of Advanced Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, and is a practicing mohel. Sam is currently working towards his advanced Semicha certification from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. During his IDF active duty, Sam served in the Givati brigade as combat medic, and is active in the same in role in Miluim. His wife Leat holds a B.A. in Criminology and Sociology from City University London, and is a certified doula and childbirth educator. They live with their three children in Ma’ale Adumim.

Learnt in the Yeshiva Gevoha of Tzfat as well as the Kollel Halacha in Kiryat Ono, where he was part of the Garin Torani, working to strengthen the local community. After seven years of full time learning, he joined the Manhigut Toranit Program. During active duty in the IDF, Rav Udiel served in the Kfir Brigade in the IDF. His wife has a degree in pscychology from the University of Bar Ilan and is completing her master’s degree in psychology. They live with their daughter in Jerusalem.

Rav Jonathan Gilbert
Came to Israel after finishing his degree in Mexico, and spent four years learning in high-level institutions. Jonathan and his wife Yahav then went on shlichut to Costa Rica, after which they moved to Mexico City, where he continued his
learning the at Birkat Shmuel Kollel while serving as the assistant Rabbi of the Sphardic Community. There, he became the head of Jewish studies at Yavne High School. After completing his master’s degree in Family Therapy, Rav Jonathan and his wife Yahav returned to Israel to join the Manhigut Toranit Program. Rav Jonathan and his wife Yahav, a chef, live with their three childrenin Gilo.

Rav Dan Yaakov Cohen
Learnt in Yeshivat Hesder Moreshet Yaakov and Kollel Yad Shaul in Kochav Yaakov. After 11 years of learning, he joined the Manhgiut Toranit Program. Besides being a rav, Rav Dan a practicing Mohel, completed a degree in education with honours from Michlelet Orot Yisrael. Rav Dan served in the IDF in the Kitat Konenut of the Kirya. His wife Naama is a social worker and they live with their 3 children in Psagot.
